Microwave Stove: Rethinking Cooking for a Low-Power Future

A patented hybrid cooking concept designed to combine microwave-based energy principles with a familiar stove-like user experience.

We are developing a hybrid cooking technology that aims to make cooking more energy-efficient while keeping the user experience simple and familiar. The project is still in early-stage development, with a working proof-of-concept prototype and multiple Indian patents supporting the concept.

Potential

Broad

Potential household, rural, and commercial applications.

What we are building

A hybrid cooking platform built around microwave-based heating principles.

Microwave Stove combines controlled microwave energy with a familiar stove-like cooking experience. The concept is intended to transfer useful heat to the utensil base while keeping the interface closer to how people already cook.

Why we built this

To explore lower-power cooking without making cooking feel unfamiliar.

The project began with a practical question: could cooking be made more energy-efficient while still feeling simple, direct, and easy to adopt? That question led to repeated prototype development and proof-of-concept work.

What makes it different

A stove-like interface with hybrid microwave-based heating logic.

This is not framed as a standard microwave oven. The concept aims to bring microwave-based energy use into a more open-format cooking experience, with attention to localized heating and lower power operation.

Proof of concept highlights

Real prototype images and demonstration history.

The project already has visible proof-of-concept work, including working prototype demonstrations, lab experiments, and public presentation material.

Where we are headed

Further engineering, validation, and partner-led development.

The next stage is not mass-market selling. It is deeper engineering, safety validation, manufacturing evaluation, and collaboration with partners who can help move the concept toward real-world development responsibly.

Validation

More thermal, performance, and safety-focused testing.

Engineering

Refinement of design, controls, materials, and manufacturability.

Collaboration

Discussions with partners, product teams, and future development collaborators.
